My Mini Rex herd began as an accident in my mom’s nestbox…chinchillas! I’ve always liked them, and as a less-popular variety, they made the perfect side project. I have chins, broken chins, some whites to breed in, and got my own nestbox surprises of Squirrels. They may soon be more than a side project!

Amante is the first showable chin out of my Mini Rex breedings. He has a great body, super short and round, and gorgeous ring color. If his fur develops, he could give some broken blacks a run for their money!
